A Brief Introduction

Founder Lucas Lizotte is a lifelong resident of the Roaring Fork Valley. Having been born in Aspen and raised in Basalt, he knew it would be a great place to raise his own family. So, more than 17 years ago, he decided just that and is the proud father of 4 children.

With over 15 years experience in the earth moving industry and a background in concrete finishing, Lucas realized his own dream of business ownership. In 2016, with a handful of employees and machines, Timberline Excavation was born. Today, Timberline Excavation continues to grow with three driving principles; Quality, Safety and Teamwork. You will often find Lucas on the job site alongside his crew or working in the Basalt office to ensure every projects’ success.
